Hollow Mountain Sound is a boutique audio post-production and music company located in Western Massachusetts. We are partnered with Ghost Hit Recording, a 3,000 sq ft residential audio facility built into an 1800’s church.
Our network of audio engineers and music composers provide world-class results at affordable rates, catering to a range of styles and media.
Hollow Mountain Sound is equipped with Audio Movers and Zoom for seamless remote collaboration. For clients traveling to the studio, our partnered facility offers onsite luxury accommodations at an affordable cost.

Andrew Oedel is a Grammy-nominated recording and mix engineer who brings over a decade of experience in audio for music, film, commercials and audiobooks. He has worked on commercial projects for Disney, Pfizer, Nike, Hannaford, and Penguin Random House. His sound design and audio post-production work has been featured in narrative and documentary films that have premiered at festivals including the Ann Arbor Film Festival, Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival, and Maryland Film Festival.
Nate Mondschein is an award-winning Massachusetts-based producer, composer, and mixing engineer. Over the better part of two decades, Nate has partnered with a diverse array of musical groups, filmmakers, podcasters, and sync agencies to help bring their musical and audio-visual projects to life. His work has been featured in The New Yorker, at the Sundance Film Festival, and on Hulu, Disney+, Amazon Prime, and Apple TV, in addition to receiving millions of streams. In October of 2019, Nate was awarded the Robert Allen Award from the ASCAP foundation for his songwriting and production.
Sasha Klare-Ayvazian is an award-winning songwriter, arranger, and composer based in Western MA. Sasha leads the indie folk quartet American Dreamer, which is represented by the Texas Commission on the Arts and was a 2021 Sonic Guild grant recipient. He has performed at the Green River Music Festival, Old Settler’s Music Festival, Kerrville Folk Festival, Back Porch Festival, and Fischer Fest. Sasha's music has been featured in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint and in a promo spot for Food Basics. His 2020 debut album Family received praise from Americana Highways, Austin 360, The Bluegrass Situation, Elmore Magazine, KUTX, and No Depression. Sasha has written hundreds of songs, performed on and arranged for countless albums, and his string arrangements are used by quartets around the country. Sasha loves working across mediums, collaborating with other artists, and problem solving.
